Bear Creek Provincial Park
From the William Bennett Bridge in Kelowna, head west on Hwy 97 for 2 km to Westside Road, then drive north on Westside Road for another 7 km and you're there.
Bear Creek Provincial Park offers something for everyone. This lush green park sits on the shores of Lake Okanagan offering over a hundred reservable campsites, lots of mature shade trees, sandy beach, designated pet beach, day use area with an abundance of picnic tables, BBQ pits, and several large open green spaces.
This park is also a fabulous place to take a hike with your furry beast with over 5 km of well marked hiking trails. These trails lead you through a canyon so expect cliffs and elevation gains.
Dogs are welcome in all areas of Bear Creek Provincial Park except for the beaches. A designated pet beach is located just north of the lagoon. Dogs must be leashed and cleaned up after.
